I think we can gain some insight into where society is headed with a simple thought experiment. One question for men and one for women.
Men: Which would you choose?
1 - No girlfriend, but unlimited peace and access to pornography.
2 - No pornography, but a girlfriend who frequently demands attention and money, criticizes, complains, blames, argues, and is only physically intimate when she feels like it.
Women: Which would you choose?
1 - No boyfriend, but unlimited shopping sprees, food, romance novels, and the companionship of pets.
2 - No shopping sprees, girl’s night out, social media, or romance novels. But a boyfriend who expects a genuine partnership of shared responsibilities, commitment, helping with meals, maintaining the home, and prioritizing the relationship.
The answers may reveal more about modern relationships, expectations, and substitutes for intimacy than we realize.

Good morning sexy. I'd love to schedule to get my hair extensions done so I feel oh so sexy for our date tonight.
MAN:
Good morning gorgeuos. I'd love to schedule to get my truck detailed so it looks extra amazing for our date tonight.
WOMAN:
